BH Server is a Minecraft SMP server that has been going on for approximately 5 years. The server first started off as an anarchy server, one that attempted to be similar to 2b2t, hence why the server logo looks similar to 2b2t's old logos.
A sort of combination of these two.
A major quantity of previous versions of BH Server at this time are lost to history because they went undocumented, and they were mainly just unsuccessful projects by me; all the servers eventually died.
The first proper season of BH Server was all the way back in 2020. This was BH Server Season 0.

Back then, BH Server had no Dynmap:
We relied on a map that was hosted on where I downloaded the map for BH.

Then came BH Season 1 in the summer of 2022.
There was a big contrast of empires in this season, Templars were at their greatest in this season while Piri was at its worst (or at its most ugly).
In this season, we had finally implemented Dynmap and got claims working, though BH Server at this time was not a modded server yet.

Now, in early 2023, came BH Season 2.
This was the first modded version of BH. This was also probably the emptiest season of BH, since this season did not follow the natural routine where BH always starts during summertime; this time, we launched the server around winter.

Now it is finally summer 2023, and BH Season 3 is out. Since it was summer, a lot more players were able to play. We had also added a lot of new mods, and this is when Valkyrien Skies was first introduced to BH.
This and every season of BH before this contained the entire world map as its map.

It is summer 2024, and BH Season 4 is out. This season probably had the largest influx of people yet; sometimes there were even 8 players on the server simultaneously.
In this season, we put a twist on BH by not including the full world map; in this season, we only had Europe, a bit of Asia, and North Africa available to us.

Now it is summer 2025 and BH Season 5 is going to come out, an exact release date is not known yet.
This time, the map is primarily going to be Asia.

In the summer of 2029, when BH Season 9 comes out, I plan on choosing a high-quality map of an island, for example, high-quality Iceland, or high-quality Madagascar, etc.
Most likely, we will run a vote for this.
I am hoping that by this time, the server will still be alive and contain the same dedicated players it contained long ago.
